Brief Answer:
Will take 2 weeks.

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

Such allergic cough takes 2 weeks to get settled. No antibiotics are indicated in such case scenario.

I would recommend following in such case:
1. A combination of Levocetrizine and Montelukast once daily in night for 2 weeks.
2. Expectorant syrup like Asthakind Expectorant 7 ml thrice daily for 5 days.

Share my opinion with your doctor.

I hope it helps you.
