Question : I've had a cough for weeks...some nasal congestion, worse at night and upon waking..Not aware of any allergies.Been getting headaches and feeling a little "off",a little dizziness, and a feeling of loss of balance when I close my eyes while standing.. a few weeks ago I had pain in my ear,not an earache, but hurt when touched, and that went away..Also been having neck pain, which seems to bring on the headaches. And fatigue is an issue.I can have a good nights sleep and within a few hours of waking can hardly keep my eyes open and need a nap! Lately been having pain in and around shoulder blade, achy arms and numb and tingly fingertips. Painful cramps in legs and feet..

Brief Answer:
Cervical Spondylosis/Vertigo

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX,

Thank You for writing in Healthcare Magic.

I read your query and understand your condition properly. After reading your history I could come to two provisional diagnosis;1)Cervical spondylosis and 2)Vertigo.

1)The symptoms you mentioned i.e. of dizziness, loss of balance, pain in shoulder blade etc sums up to Cervical spondylosis. For this I would suggest you to go for CT scan Neck or a Myelogram. This will confirm any abnormality in your spine and then you would be treated accordingly.

2)Vertigo might be another diagnosis because you mentioned you recently had an ear infection which mostly was viral. The infection causes inflammation in the inner ear around nerves that are important for helping the body sense balance. The diagnosis is basically based on the history and an audiometry test.

So, I would definitely suggest you to see a doctor and get evaluated for the same.

Hope i answered your query.Feel free to ask more.
