Brief Answer:
paracetamol

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

the safest drug to use in most cases is paracetamol (acetaminophen). The dosage depends on the child's weight. 10-15mg per Kg per dose. You can give this dose 4-5 times per day (every 5-6 hours that is). For example for a child weighing 30Kg the dosage is 300-450mg 4-5 times per day. To be on the safe side you can try the lowest doses first and escalate as appropriate.

Kind Regards!
