Question : My girlfriend has come down with multiple symptoms over the last 3 days that started with a sore throat

othersymptoms are headache,ears hurt,vomiting,side ache-rib cage and lower, cough, eating fine, felling cold,

Hi,

I have gone through the medical history of your girlfriend and understood your concerns.

All the symptoms she is having are due to viral infection. Side pain on right rib cage are due to coughing.

I advise to :
- keep her well hydrated (water, tea, chicken soup )
- give her coughing medications
- acetaminophen / ibuprofen will ease sore throat
- advise her to gargle with warm water and salt;
- advise to take more rest

If symptoms will get worse, should consult with her doctor as she might need prescription medications.
