Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for posting your query on HealthcareMagic.

This seems like vitamin D excess.

I need to know if you are taking supplements. Which ones are you taking? Do you have any other symptom?
Also let me know if there has been any other change recently.

Brief Answer:
Its probably Vitamin D excess

Detailed Answer:
Hi again

What dose of vitamin D you are taking? This is likely to be its excess. Since its a fat soluble vitamin, it can easily accumulate in body and cause symptoms like muscle spasms, constipation, irritability etc.

I would recommend that you get its blood levels checked. Also discontinue it for a few days and see if it clears the spasms.

Brief Answer:
Its equivalent to 2000 IU

Detailed Answer:
Hi

My suggestion is still same. 27.5mcg/day is equivalent to 2000 IU/day of vitamin D. If taken for prolonged periods it can accumulate in body and cause side effects.
