Suggest Treatment For Cramps And Pain In Groin Area After Botox Injection

Question: Hi I had a cystoscopy and about 20 botox injections today for overactive bladder I have like cramp pains in groin area on movement but not overly worried about that but wondering what could be causing prickly feeling on my abdomen which is very like the pins and needles I been getting in left hand and toes. The abdomen feeling just started after proceedure today.
Hi I not sure if associated but have had headache all morning that is still here but not as intense after paracetamol and codeine.

Brief Answer:
Might be caused by the anesthesia.
Detailed Answer:
Good Day and thank you for being with Healthcare Magic!
What kind of anesthesia was used during your procedure? The pins and needles may related to the anesthetic used rather than the Botox received intra vesical. Same goes with the headache that you have felt. The abdominal cramps and the headaches are transient and will surely go away after a day or two.

Pls see detailed answer.
Detailed Answer:
In my experience and in the literature there is no mention of pins and needles sensation that may affect you after Botox injection. There was one incident of loss of sensation in the pelvis area but this is rare. I would suggest to observe the sensation and if it worsens then seek consult with your attending Urologist or a Neurologist. Pins and needles sensation is a peripheral neuropathy symptom that is common in patients with long standing diabetes and is usually treated with Vitamin B complex.
