Suggest Treatment For Cyst Like Mass Near Vaginal Opening

Question: Hi, I am a 36 year old woman my husband and I are sexually active. I have what appears to be a cyst like mass on the left side of my Clinton's, it is not painful though it becomes more uncomfortable each day. It is not a pimple and is very much under the skin. Is there Anything I can do, or do I need to seek an appointment with my doctor?

I understand your concern.
From your description, it looks like a bartholin's cyst or a sebaceous cyst. These are not very serious. But clinical examination by a gynaecologist is needed to rule out chances of genital infection etc. If untreated or neglected, abscess can be formed. I would suggest you the following-

Dont manipulate.
Keep genitals clean, wash with antibacterial soap.
Avoid sexual contact till it resolves.
Consult a gynaecologist for proper examination and further advice.
You can send a picture of the cyst if possible so that i can tell you further.
