Question : I just noticed that my 58 y/o husband has some dark spots underneath his tongue. The veins also look especially dark blue (not sure if this is normal). Please evaluate photo attached.

I have reviewed the attached photograph.
I can appreciate few dark spots underneath his tongue. They appear to be normal but still I would recommend you to consult an otolaryngologist to get it examined clinically that is on inspection and palpation.
The dark veins are normal as the mucosa in some individuals is thin and the veins look prominent.
