Brief Answer:
determing the cause is important.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome to HCM.
I understand your concerns.

Semen volume does decrease with age.

For your problem, some common reason could be:
1. Dehydration: The reduce water intake does affect semen volume.

2. Prostate issues: there may be some prostate issues which can affect secretion of semen.

3. Retrograde ejaculation: the semen is discharged in bladder.

4. Drug abuse like alcohol, smoking and others can be the contributing factor.

I would suggest you to consult an urologist for proper evaluation of cause and appropriate treatment.

Hope this helps.
