Question : I have degenerative arthritis can't take medication because I have server allergies to Schell fish , so I have a spot on th the top of my neck and my arms are going numb and tingling, sometimes can't use my arms mostly my left side and I have sjrones syndrome and every arthritis there is and fibromyalgia pulse more

Dear Madam,

Thank you for posting your query on HCM.

Well looking into your problem I would like to tell you that , probably the most important issue that is bothering you is cervical spondylitis and the resultant impingement of nerves . Your doctor can consider starting you on gabapentin for neurological pain , along with vitamin B12 supplement .

Also for sjogrens syndrome are you taking hydroxychloroquine , also vitamin D supplementation and calcium intake should be adequate .

What is hydroxychioroquine for what does it doe ? And my vitamin b's are high I just had some blood work done I drink nothing but vitamin water with all the vitamin b's in them I walk almost every day but I have lower back problems also

Its a drug used in Primary Sjogrens syndrome , what about vitamin D and calcium supplementation . Also considering your age , DEXA Scan should be done to see if you are having osteoporosis or not . Can you send me your recent blood tests .
