Brief Answer:
?degenerative back pain

Detailed Answer:
Hi ,

Do you have pain in your back that goes to the back of your legs? Any tingling sensation or numbness in the feet? What do you do for a living?

If you have only low back pain it could be due to weak muscles or age related wear and tear of the spine joints. If the pain goes to your legs then it could be a spinal disc bulge compressing the nerves.

Avoid bending forwards and lifting heavy objects. Do let me know more about your back pain and hope it affects you.

Thanking you

Brief Answer:
Muscle pain

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks replying to the query. It’s possible you are having muscle aches due to bad position sitting in bed. This can cause mid back pain and also pain the groin.

I would suggest getting blood test for Vitamin D to make sure you don’t have deficiency which causes muscle aches and tiredness. Also I would suggest either getting a good chair and desk to work or taking a break in between to do stretching exercises for back and hips which you find in YouTube or by a physiotherapist.

You may get X-rays of your hips if there a lot of groin pain to rule out early arthritis as well if Vitamin D levels are normal and you have not benefitted from exercises.

Do let me know your thoughts.

Thanking you

Brief Answer:
Needs formal physical prescription from a doctor

Detailed Answer:
Hi ,

You can consult a Physiotherapist for best results. You will need to consult a doctor to get the prescription. Usually the treatment is for a couple of months and re-test your Vitamin D levels to see if you need more.

Do let me know if you have any other queries.

Thanking you.
