Question : Hi We are trying for our second baby for 6 months but didn't get the positive results.. On February I had a delay of 10 days on my periods and the pregnancy test was positive so we went to doctor and she told that everything was ok and gave primolut tablet and asked me to take 10 days for the first month..after 10 days I got my periods and she also asked me to take the same tablet after my 16th day of next month periods continuing for 10 days..I did the same..this month we tried fully with the cycle...now my question is still is there any chances for my pregnancy this month?i am expecting my periods tomorrow..

Hello Doctor

Thank you so much for your reply..sorry by mistake I wrote it as positive actually it was negative..Actually my last periods before the treatment was on December 29th 2016 and my expected periods was on XXXXXXX 27th 2016 but it was delayed untill February 8th after that I did pregnancy home test it was negative so that we went to doctor and she did ultrasound and told me that I was not pregnant and everything is fine and also she gave me primolut tablet..from February 8th to 18th I took the tablet and February 21st I got my periods and from march 8th I started having the tablet and in between I skipped it for two days and on march 20th I completed the tablet cycle for this month for 10 days..and on mar 20th( last day of my primolut tablet )I got a little pink spot and it exists only for a day and it stopped.and tomorrow is my expected periods date..shl I become pregnant this mon or the tablet primolut will prevent the pregnancy..I just want to know abt it Mam..my doctor asked me to take that tablet only for 2mons..sorry for this long post..

Hello again.
There is a chance of pregnancy this month, same as normal women, which is around 25 % per month.
Primolut does not prevent pregnancy.
Normally do you have regular cycles ?
Or do you have delayed periods ?
You can take a pregnancy test if you do not have your period for a week more.
I hope you are aware that you should be sexually active every alternate day from day 10 of your cycle onwards.

Thank you so much for your reply..Usually I have normal 30 days cycle of periods regularly before we started trying for our pregnancy.. But after trying it was irregular for some months and some months it was regular..yeah we started our intercourse as per the cycle, after 10thday alternatively..yeah I wll do home test after a week..Thank you
