Question : My husband was diagnosed with Parkinsonism some years ago,he now has dementia,lid some research on Lewy bodies and he seems to fit,is there something specific with this that could defiantly be a diagnosis

On basis of above details, this may be Lewy body dementia(LBD) or Parkinson's disease dementia(PDD). DAT scan can differentiate LBD from common dementia in elderly,ie, Alzheimer's disease.

Neurological history and examination can further help differentiate the diagnoses.So, you should get examined by a neurologist.
