Question : I have had many problems with trust as it has been betrayed so many times. I have been separated from my husband for 13 yrs due to his infildety then soon after I managed too get involved with a person for many years and only to find out he was emointally abuse that turned physical. I have 2 sons 24 and 17 but my youngest has autism and is very low functioning. the man that I was is a long term relationship will not leave me alone. I fall in the trap everytime we haven't lived together for 2 yrs and he has a girlfriend. I have had him arrested a restaining order but it never stops I feel like im crazy well that's one of his favorites. the end of the relationship I began to become abusive I was just so tired of taking his crap and all the lies, he cant even keep them straight. I have a huge problem with my youngest son and coping with this man I am angry most of the time depressed riddled with anxiety I just want too run away but I haven't worked in 18 yrs I feel sometimes im on the edge . I have been to therapy but they are all under the age of 30 im 50 so I don't feel they have a feel for how desperate I am.

As you have many problems with family and that may be the reason for your depression and anxiety.
For autistic son also take treatment as now a days there are many treatment available for autism also.
Your main stress is from your husband so you need to take some steps whether you have to be with him or want to separate form him.
You also need medication and counselling by which you are able to take some decision.
first of all what is your symptoms ?
There are many medication which help you like desvelaflexine, venlafexine, escitalopram which are more potent than sertraline .
if your symptoms are more sever you can go for ECT (electro convulsive therapy) also.
Whatever the age of therapist he or she can understand how you desperate and what is your feeling.
Discuss with your treating doctor.
