Question: yes, ok, I had my biote pellets put in last Friday, this was a "re-do" because I got them in XXXXXXX and I could not tell ANYTHING was done, very emotional, depressed, night sweats etc... have been going on since early July, so, my doc said I needed more.... I have been itching now for 2-3 days, minimal, but feels like an allergic reaction to "something" and the pellets are the only thing I've done....also, still feel very depressed, emotional, but, it's only been a few days, so i'm giving it time. I have been on pellets for 2 years, but, just changed to "Biote" in XXXXXXX was on Sotopelle before that, with no issues and felt great!

Brief Answer:
Wait and watch for few days.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing to us.
Facts about pelette-
- Biote and sotopelle are one of the same thing but may be some feel better with sotopelle brand.
- If on pelette still feel symptoms like depression, anxiety may be you need more dose of hormone.
- In this case I suggest you check your hormonal level including thyroid level also.
- Itching may be present but resolve in few days( may be due to sensitivity to povidone present in pelette)
- If persist you can take Benadryl
In your case in my opinion you should wait and watch for your symptoms, if it will not resolve in few weeks then please consult your doctor.
Hope I have answered your query if you have further questions I will be happy to help you.
Good luck.
Regards
Dr. Richa

Thank you... I did remember after I asked you my question, that I was stung by a wasp on top
Of my head on Saturday, perhaps this is where the itching is coming from and the other symtoms are just going to take some more time to resolve since my pellets are maybe not working yet?
