Suggest Treatment For Depression
Question: Iam XXXXXXX my age 25yeras .works at TCS conpany. .i've high depresstion facing past 4 years.i'm not Alcahalic .(in future also),so I'm facing slepping problem sever. what is Trika 1mg Tablet,zolfresh 10mg .how to take it,or suggest other medcines your side.What is sidffects of these medicine.

You are having severe depression ,but you didn't mention the drug ,which you are taking .
Now , you are also having INSOMNIA or sleeping disorder ( according to you , as mentioned in query ).
As you mentioned for trika 1 mg i.e. alprazolam ( this is only for anxiety but also used as for sleep ).
While zolfresh or zolpidem is only for short-term management of insomnia.
But , you are also having depression with insomnia .
When such patient visit , I prescribe them to take a combination of "ESCITALOPRAM 10 mg +CLONAZEPAM 0.25 mg ", only in the night after dinner ( once in 24 hours ).
It not only act as antidepressant but also help in sleeping disorder ,so this will help in both condition.
As far as about the side effects of TRIKA , these are psychological & physical dependence , withdrawal syndrome, drowsiness , vertigo, sedation , dizziness fatigue , G I upset muscle weakness , ataxia ,confusion, blood dyscrasia ( but these are for prolong use ).
Clonazepam also having same side effects but this is better tolerable drug and less addiction producing).
Side effects of zolfresh area also more or less same as of trika and also anorexia, drugged feelings .
While side effects of esctilopram is ejaculation disorder, nausea, diarrhea, fatigue, somnolence , postural hypotension .
But as I mentioned all these side effects are only for short period and drug adjust after some time .
Since at this time you require as an anti depressant and also drug for insomnia and this is a good combination .
Usually all drugs fro sleeping disorder are to be taken in the night for sound sleep.
