Brief Answer:
Such symptoms can occur in mild to moderate depression.

Detailed Answer:
Hello Welcome to HCM

I can understand your concern. Due to working in stressful environment and work pressure a lot of individuals develop symptoms of easy fatiguability, tiredness etc symptoms. In most of individuals these symptoms hamper work efficiency and result in significant distress. Sometimes individuals develop poor concentration, low mood also like you are having. These symptoms can occur in depression but to make proper diagnosis of depression proper evaluation and more detailed history is needed.

I wanted to know if that poor concentration and low mood remain persistent in other domains of life also or they are limited at work only?

If you have loss of interest in day to routine? Any activity that gives you pleasure like talking to someone or watching TV or something like that?

Any bad thoughts or any ideas of hopelessness, helplessness or worthlessness?

If you have any history of diabetes in family. Any history of Hypertension in family?

Such symptoms of tiredness, poor concentration can also occur in a lot of nutritional deficiencies and we should rule out them before making diagnosis of depression. Low Vitamin B12 levels are one of common cause behind such symptoms. Low vitamin B12 results in symptoms of tiredness, low mood and sometimes this may cause depression also. Hypothyroidism is also one of cause for similar symptoms. Please get your B12 and thyroid levels checked to rule out these conditions.

Such symptoms of mild to moderate depression respond well to antidepressants like SSRIs as Fluoxetine, Escitalopram or Sertraline etc. These medicines help to reduce the symptoms and result in improved functioning. Please visit a psychiatrist for evaluation and prescription.

Apart from this start taking supplements containing Omega-3-Fatty Acids. These supplements will help to improve your symptoms and you will feel better.

Thanks, I hope this helps you. Please provide the details I have asked in follow up so that I can comment with more confidence.

Take care

Brief Answer:
These symptoms appear to be occurring due to adjustment disorder

Detailed Answer:
Hello again and thanks for providing the details I have asked

As symptoms are persisted more during work hours only. Your symptoms got aggravated during work so these symptoms point more towards Adjustment disorder. In Adjustment disorder individuals develop depressive symptoms. Fear of losing job also strengthens our diagnosis.

Your thyroid status is normal and I guess you have no diabetes or hypertension (as you haven't mentioned it). Treatment is same as I have mentioned. SSRIs like Escitalopram in doses of 5-10 mg helps in improving these symptoms. The drug usually take about 4-6 weeks to show its effect but it can effectively control these symptoms. Visit a doctor for detailed written prescription.

Yes code liver oil and flake seeds consists of Omega Acids. Take Vitamin B12 tabs also.

Thanks.
