Brief Answer:
Diabetes can be improved with life style modifications.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query on HealthcareMagic.

Inorder to know whether you are suffering from diabetes mellitus or not, you need to get a fasting blood glucose and postprandial blood glucose levels.
If fasting blood glucose is more than 126 mg% and postprandial blood glucose is above 200 mg%, then diabetes is confirmed.
Daily blood glucose level of 95 to 115 mg% is not in diabetic range.
HbA1c is a parameter which reflects the average blood sugar levels.
Level of 7.3 to 7.6 indicates a fair blood glucose control.

If you have more queries, I will be glad to answer.

Thanks and take care

Brief Answer:
Kidney function test, ultrasound and PSA levels will be helpful

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome again,
Renal function test is a set of tests which determine the functional status of kidneys.
Renal function tests includes blood urea nitrogen, uric acid and creatinine.
For kidney stones, an ultrasound of kidney-bladder-ureter region needs to be done.
For an enlarged prostate, an ultrasound, digital prostatic examination and blood levels of PSA (prostate specific antigen) need to be done.
Further management will depend on the result of the investigations.
