Question : Hi my dad is a diabetic patient now Hezbollah feeling quite unconscious XXXXXXX of the tym right now his BP measure is 112/79
And pulse rate is 113...is it something to worry about. ..

Possible Neuropathy?Need complete lab work up.

Hello, Sir.

I understand your concern.

Pertaining to his current symptoms few investigations are needed to detect the cause for his sensory imperception.

This can result from Diabetic neuropathy.

I advise you to get few baseline tests.

1.Blood sugar fasting and Post prandial.
2.Serum Electrolytes.
3.Hb1ac.
4.CBC and DC.
5.Serum creatinine.
6.Fasting Lipid Profile.

Additionally the possibility of intervertebral disc disease has to be considered considering his physical inactivity, back pain and obesity.For this, I recommend an MRI spine of the lumbar region.

Further management is based on test results.
