Question : Hi, doctor,
Today afternoon I ate outside. From the evening, I was not feeling well in the stomach. In addition, I am having loose motions (6 times from the evening). I did not eat in the night, took buttermilk.
Please suggest me what can I do. Do I need to take any medicine?

Thanks for posting your query.

It seems like you are having food poisoning. Most of the time , loose motions during food poisoning last for 24-48 hours and subsides on its own . But during this period adequate hydration has to be maintained by drinking plenty of water and fruit juices.

Hence my advise to you is wait for 1 more day , drink plenty of water and fruit juices . Avoid non veg food .

If loose motions still persists after 1 day then you need to get a prescription of Antibiotics from your doctor.
