Hi and thank you for asking on HCM!

I read carefully all your concerns and I can say as follows:

1. Your symptoms like green diarrhea are not typical for colon cancer.
It is mostly related with :
- candida overgrowth
- ova parasite infection.
- malabsorbtion
2. To my opinion you need to be examined with :
- fecal culture test
- fecal candida, ova , parasites
- fecal exams for malabsorbtion/
- colonoscopy
3.The fact that you are not having abdominal pain , it's a good sign.
Please don't worry about colon cancer, First of all you are too young and the second your symptoms are not suggestive for colon cancer.
If you have other queries I would be glad to assist you.

Thank you for your replay dr . Shehu
I do notice i get sugar cravings alot. I try to avoid it but it always gets the best of me.

Any advice on what i can eat or not eat to avoid this situation from happening?

And with candida is that something that tends to come back after a while?

I dont mind having to change my diet cause i know it has lots to do with what i feel

Hi back,
With regards to sugar it aggravates diarrhea and candida overgrowth too.
This is why to may opinion you should take care of your diet as follows:
- take plenty of water
- avoid sugar and fatty foods
- avoid spicy foods
- use fresh fruits and vegetables
If your symptoms doesn't improve after a couple of days than you should perform the exams that I mentioned above.
Hope it was helpful to you!
