Hello and thank you for your question.
Many times after having diarrhea, the rectal area gets irritated and can be itchy. if there are no worms and no rash then this should resolve on its own.
Keep the area clean and use a calming lotion or cream because if the rectal area is dry that can make the itching worse. Take cool showers because heat will also make the itching worse.
If it does not resolve over the next few weeks then try another worm treatment or see a doctor.
