Question : i have a son of 4 months old but last two days he has loose motion can you advise any medicine

Thanks for writing to us.
Loosestools are usually as a result of viral infection at this age .
Usually only Oral rehydration solution like Rebalanz is recommended to be given in sips every 15min. Continue breast feeding.
Zinc drops at 10 mg per day can be given for 10 days tohelp in recovery.
Ensure your baby passes atleast 6times urine in a day.
If baby becomes dull, with low urine output , seek immediate medical attention.
