Question : Hi. I am in XXXXXXX Today in morning at around 6 am I had loose motions and also felt like vomitting. By 9 am I was also having headache and body ache. Body temperature was 100 Degree. So I took XXXXXXX Ras (3 tablets) and one Crocin advanced tablet at 10 am.
No there feeling better in terms of no feeling of loose motions or vomits at 1:30 pm. But having fever at 102 degrees and body ache and slight head ache. No throat infection. Please advice on medication. My family physician has left for the day so could not meet her. .

Hi and thanks for your query.

It seems you have a viral gastroenteritis.

It is good that you are not having loose motions and vomiting. In case you get vomiting sensation again please take ondensteron tablet.

For fever alone combination of paracetamol and ibuprofen (as in combiflam) is best, It can be taken 8 hourly. It will relieve of fever and bodyache. Fever and bodyache are happening because of the infection or toxin released. It will get better when the infection is over. Keep patience. Your body's immunity will take care of it.

For any loose motions take ORS in clean drinking water.
