Question : Patient ProfileGender: FemaleAge: 48Visited a Doctor: NoMedications Tried: Ondansetron ODT 4 mg, 1 tablet 5 hours ago & 1 tablet 1 hour. My girlfriend is in good health, weights about 130 lbs & works for mental health. She can't keep down food or liquids. Bathroom frequency through out the night was 15-20 minutes, now it is around every 10 minutes. I found her on the bathroom floor about 30 minutes ago, very weak , and helped her to bed. Thanks
Hi Doc,
My girlfriend is 48 and in good health. She started throwing up around 11 pm last night along with diarrhea. The frequency was around 15 minutes. It has lasted for over 8 hours. She is extremely weak, nearly passed out in the bathroom a 1/2 hour ago and complains about a very severe pain just below her belly button. She had her gal bladder out about 6 years ago.
Any thoughts ?

Brief Answer:
Dehydration
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
It looks like she has acute gastroenteritis that may be associated with Urinary Tract Infection (UTI).
She looks dehydrated based on your details. Get her blood pressure checked right now. If that is low she may require admission or IV fluids at ER.
If her blood pressure is normal she should take plenty of fluids. She should take oral rehydration solution at home by composing water, sugar and salt. If glucose is available that can be added too.
At this point, it is best to take her to the ER for evaluation.
I hope it helps you.
