Hello,
Welcome to HCM and thanks for your query.
Your symptoms are suggestive of a GI infection.
If you can let me know how it started and whether you had some tests or medicine and the results /effects, I would be able to advise you better.
Have you checked your temperature when you feel the chills?
Take care

It started after going to the supermarket with a severe headache in the afternoon. The GI issues started the next morning. I haven't taken my temp, and have not gone for any tests. I took some aspirin for the headache, but no other meds
Brief Answer:
Aspirin a possible cause
Detailed Answer:
Aspirin is a gastric irritant. It can produce lesions from mild gastritis, erosion to ulcers.
Abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting and bowel irregularities can occur.
You could take a proton pump inhibitor like omeprazole and if the symptoms are due to aspirin, your symptoms would abate and you would be fine.
If you are not better, it would be better to get the tests done and appropriate treatment taken.
