Question : i have had loose bowel movements for the past 2 weeks, i have taken imodium d on a daily basis. once a day.

Antibiotic and probiotic.

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Immodium D should be used only in cases of uncontrolled diarrhea and best be avoided in children and elderly people.

It is 2 weeks that you are having a problem of the loose bowel habits.
I would advise all such patients to undergo a course of an antibiotic and probiotic. Undergo all relevant blood, urine and stool tests.
Review after 5 days if there is no relief.
Then only to go for ultrasonography of the abdomen.
