Brief Answer:
Be patient and quit completely

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

I had gone through your question and understand your concerns that you are unable to open the mouth.

Based on your clinical details, it appears to be submucosal fibrosis with trismus. Your issue requires patience and follow up with the oral surgeon and if required ENT surgeon. Please note that there are no home remedies for this fibrosis which is long standing and chronic problem.

I recommend following things.

1. Quit pan, Gutkha and betel nut permanently.

2. Take multivitamins with antioxident daily for 3 months.

3. Have a consultation with physiotherapist for physiotherapy and exercises.

4. Regular bi monthly follow ups with your treating Oral surgeon.

5. Stop taking spicy & spiny foods, make a habit of taking fruits and vegetables in your regular meals.

All the best. Take care.

Hope this answers your question, if you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.

Wishing you good health.
