Question : What could cause a possible blockage that I cannot urinate?

Hello XXXX and welcome to HCM.
As an Urologist, let me assure you, that certain tests can tell us cause of block in urinary tube. There could be various causes for such blocks.
There could be severe inflammation, a stone, previous instrumentation, tumor, etc.
The exact reason will need certain tests to be done, to know the cause.
1. urine routine and culture.
2. S.creatinine, sugar.
3.Ultrasound scan of abdomen and pelvis.
4.Urethro- cystogram.
5.cystoscopy.
You may show the reports to an Urologist and according to reports, further treatment will be advised.

Ok, when I go to emergency room, they do not do any test.... Therefore it is kind of useless to go to the emergency room even though I can I use the bathroom, the emergency room doctors don't do anything when I go. What should I tell them in the emergency room, to get them to look at the problem??

Hi again.
If you're able to go to the ER, and tell them , you're unable to pass urine, they'll examine and decide , if a catheter needs to be placed in the bladder.
That will solve your problem.
The tests to determine cause of block, will be done after that.
