Question : My husband fell a week ago twice within 2 days while boating. His leg is very discolored, swollen and the skin is very tight. Now his toes are black at the base.Very tender to the touch.Should we go see the MD?
Brief Answer:
see a doctor
Detailed Answer:
Hi and welcome.
He should definitely see a doctor a soon as possible. This may be vascular issue due to vein throbosis or artery occlusion. This may have some serious consequances. He should do doppler ultrasosund to rule this out. So,visit doctor, dont risk. Till that he should warm legs, keep it elevated and take nonsteroid painkillers. Wish you good health. Regards
