Suggest Treatment For Discomfort In Lower Back

Question: Experiencing lower back discomfort over the last few months.The discomfort is more when I commute to work by two wheeler. Feel the need to stretch my back by bending towards my feet and or using a cushion while sitting.Been a regular runner .Kindly suggest if this is a disc related injury or any muscular injury.

I have noted your symptoms.

Based on that, the most likely cause of your symptoms is mechanical back ache, due to muscular spasm.

As of now, you can start back extension exercises under the guidance of a physiotherapist. For pain relief, they would also start IFT/ultrasound treatment.

If the symptoms persist, you can go for MRI spine to exclude disc disease.
