Brief Answer:
Your symptoms seem to be related to low blood pressure.

Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Thank you for asking on HCM!

I understand your concern and would like to explain that your symptoms semm to be related to low blood pressure.

It is important to perform a comprehensive differential diagnosis of many causes leading to this clinical scenario such as : chronic anemia, dehydration, thyroid gland or adrenal gland dysfunction, vitamin deficiencies, low blood sugar, etc.

I recommend consulting with your GP for a careful physical examination, a chest x ray, a resting ECG and some blood lab tests like :

- complete blood count
- kidney and liver function tests
- thyroid hormone levels
- cortisol plasma levels
- fasting glucose
- blood electrolytes
- urine analysis, etc, to find out the possible cause.

You should also monitor your blood pressure during sitting and standing up position. A head up tilt test would be necessary to exclude possible orthostatic hypotension.

Meanwhile I would advise to take plenty of fluids (water, juices) and avoid straining physical activity or prolonged standing up position.

A healthy diet, full of vitamins and electrolytes, and some more caffeine intake would help with your blood pressure.

I hope to have been helpful!

Feel free to ask any other questions whenever you need!

Best wishes,

Dr. Iliri

Brief Answer:
If symptoms persist, you need to consult the ER doctor.

Detailed Answer:

Hi again!

If low blood pressure values keep persisting and your symptoms become more disturbing, then you need to go to ER for a faster BP restoration by intravenous fluid administration and for a preliminary differential diagnosis.

Dr. Iliri
