Question : I went to the fair on Sunday. I really not a fan of the crazy dizzying rides. My friend made me go on this one particular one that swung like a pendulum but 360 degree. It stopped at the a couple of times, so I was hanging there for good minute or two. I felt somewhat fine afterwards, went on other rides. After the fair we went out to eat. I felt like throwing up, so I went to the bathroom, but nothing came up. I felt like throwing up before we ate. I was able to drive home, except I had a slight headache. I thought I could just sleep it off. The next day, i went to work but I felt nauseous ,dizzy like I was going to throw up, my head was throbbing. This feeling lasted for two days until I actually did throw up. I felt fine afterwards for a bit, until I threw up again. I thought I would be fine to return to work, but I threw up there and was sent home. I went to see a doctor at Planned Parenthood, she said to take Dramamine. So went to the store and got the off brand of Dramamine. I took the suggested dosage and fell asleep. Now the nausea feeling has gone a away. I haven't thrown up. But the dizzy, head throbbing is still there. It lasts for a couple of seconds, which is better than I wasn't taking anything. I don't know what to to, what else could I like that can get rid of the dizziness.

Brief Answer:
An evaluation is needed.

Detailed Answer:
I read your question carefully and I understand your concern.

Dizziness can have several causes. Most times it is something benign related to inner ear, low blood pressure, dehydration or electrolyte abnormalities. Considering your age I think that one of those is most probably your case and you will gradually get better.

However I am a little worried from that throbbing headache that you describe which is not typical for inner ear conditions. So I would feel better if the possibility of something like stroke was excluded which can manifest with headache, vomiting, dizziness and vertigo. It is unlikely at your age so no reason to panic, but I believe a visit to the ER wouldn’t be futile since symptoms are persisting.
You could have there a blood pressure measurement, some routine blood tests to exclude electrolyte abnormalities or infection indicators and a neurological exam to make sure there are not any neurological signs you might not have noticed.

I remain at your disposal for further questions.
