Question : Ive been throwing up really dizzy and headaches chage depending on my position. Had a CT Friday but don't know the results. I'm rather miserable. Any suggestions on what I can do?? And I've lost 6 pounds from all the vomoting and am very weak...

Thanks for writing in to us.

A CT brain scan is an important test to know if there is any cause in the brain which might be causing your problems. If there was any alarming finding on the CT scan then you would have been told by now. Since it is 3 days and they have still not called you regarding CT scan results, therefore I guess there might no be any alarming finding on CT scan.

In the mean while you have written about losing 6 pounds of weight in a short time and vomiting. In this situation you need to go to the emergency and get your electrolytes checked as you are feeling weak. You need to have adequate oral fluids and if the vomiting ins not under control then intravenous fluids are to be given.

In conclusion, I suggest that you get emergency treatment to control vomiting and prevent dehydration and electrolyte imbalance.
