Question : I am suffering from dry cough its some allergy how do I detect that.

Hi and thanks for your query.

To rule out allergies some tests can be done like complete blood count and immunoglobulin levels. In complete blood count, eosinophil levels would be raised but it can be rasied with fungal infections etc thus it is not a very specific test. In immunoglobulin level, IgE would be raised.

Anyways there is no specific test for allergies. It is mostly a diagnosis based on symptoms and clinical examination. Thus if you can let me know your symptoms in detail, I will be better able to help you.
