it is likely to be due to acid reflux!!
Detailed Answer:
Hello
From your complaints it looks like that you may be suffering from acid reflux which is causing the sourness in your throat and cough.
There is another possibility of a throat infection and i can only confirm this by examining you!
I would like you to avoid tea , coffee , spicy food , and take a light diet.
Please start tablet pantoprazole 40 mg once a day before food for the acidity.
You can also take syrup corex 2 teaspoon twice a day for the cough and lease start gargling with hexidine mouth wash 2-3 times a day, this will take care of the throat infection.
If you develop fever , increased pain or cough , meet your ent doctor for advice and further medications .
Thanks and take care!
