Suggest Treatment For Dry Mouth

Question: I have dry mouth at night. I take Flomax which I stopped. My condition improved but not totally. Any advice?

1. Yes, Flomax (Tamsulosin) does cause a dry mouth (xerostomia) as a side effect.

2. This is a reversible side effect and should subside in a few days.

3. Other common causes such as mouth breathing (snoring), dehydration, acid reflux should be ruled out.
