Brief Answer:
Use coconut oil
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for the query.
He might be suffering from senile xerosis.
With age skin looses water and becomes dry.
This causes itching.
It's good that he is using moisturiser.
In addition he can apply coconut oil.
It has lot of essential fatty acids which repair damaged skin.
Also give him a 15 day course of vitamin E.
It will be better if he takes an anti histamine whenever itch is more.
It is important to prevent development of ulcers.
Let me know if you have any other doubts.
