Constant running nose/allergies are the main causes...
Detailed Answer:
Hi my dear,
I am sorry for the situation you are in.
1. You have a personal history of constant running nose and allergies.
2. Your right nostril stays dry and scabs. Constant running nose and allergies are the main causes.
Bleeding is caused because you tend to remove the scabs by force, thus, rupturing the local blood vessels with bleeding.
As you use to do this for long period, the blood vessels there have become more susceptible causing excessive bleeding. Furthermore, the nose sprays you use might make the blood vessels there more fragile, and easily to rupture.
3. If I was your caring doctor would advise to run further tests to exclude other internal problems first before determining that you have a problem with local (nostril) blood vessels:
- complete blood count to exclude anemia
- measuring vitamins levels in the blood (especially of vit.C)
- check the local (nostrils) by ENT specialist
4. For the moment, I advise to:
- keep a good local hygiene; wash your nose frequently with warm water
- having frequent bathing can help
- aerosol therapy can also help relieve the inflammation in your nostril
- if you had nasal bleeding recent, try not to use nasal spray for a few days to let the blood vessels heal
- try not to remove by fore the scabs; if you bathe or wash with warm water, they will get softener and easily to remove by themself
- keep a humidifier where you stay/sleep
Hope it was of help!
