Brief Answer:
Intolerance to milk or anything else can develop any time in life.

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query and an elucidate history.

Noted your history of pain in lower left abdomen for the past few months.
The history of pain immediately on milk indicates that you have developed allergy to milk. It may be more than lactose intolerance.

This also indicates that you must have been intolerant to many other things.

In such a case I would advise you the following:
First of all have keen observation on day-to-day basis about what you have consumed, to what things you got exposed to. These include the scents, fumes, and can be anything.
Make a list of the foods and beverages and other factors that suit you the best, do not cause any problems at all.
Make another list of the things that you have noticed to instigate and/or enhance
the pain or any other problems.

Avoidance of these factors is the key to the better life. I hope this alone should solve your problem of pain in abdomen. If there is no complete relief after stopping all such foods/beverages/factors, further tests may be warranted.

Lactose and for that matter intolerance to anything else can develop anytime in life.
Your Keen observation is the most diagnostic thing. You can go for stool tests including that for lactose intolerance.
You need to see a Gastroenterologist and an Allergy Specialist if available in your area.

I hope this answers your query, please feel free to ask further relevant queries if you need to or if you feel that there is a gap of communication.
