Brief Answer:
As below:

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for your query.

1. A dust allergy is difficult to avoid as a non-specific allergy cannot be avoided at all times and has no cure. It can only be controlled by medication.

2. A two week trial with a steroid nasal spray added to your current medication should be taken.

3. Depending upon the response, this medication may be continued for a month and then tapered off over three months. If the response is poor, get a plain Sinus CT Scan done.

4. This is a common problem. Kindly follow up after the trial with the steroid nasal spray and images of the Sinus CT Scan, if necessary.

Hope I have answered your query. If you have any follow up queries, I will be available to answer them.

Regards.

Hi,

Thank you for writing back.

1. Ideally, you will require a prescription of a local physician to purchase the spray.

2. Some of the generic medications are mometasone, fluticasone, ciclesonide and so on.
