Question : I have been taking Ciprodex for an ear infection.Initially I was supposed to only take it for five days. Then I needed more of it and the refill said take it for 7 days. On day 6 I got a slight burning on one application.
Should I stop? XXXXXXX Amadei

I am so sorry to hear about this irritation that you have reported. Ciprodex is generally recommended for 7days in total to treat ear infections. I will recommend that you stop this after the 7th day. If you should still have symptoms after completing 7days, then you would need to be re-examined to make sure we there i nothing more disturbing that we are missing out on.

In all, stop after the 7th day. Ciprodex contains a steroid and would help with the irritation.
