Suggest Treatment For Ear Pain While Having Allergic Rhinitis

Question : I have allergic rhinitis for which the doctor prescribed
Cortimax 2x5 days
Odimont 1x10 days
Floresp nasal spray Twice daily

Now I have completed 5 says and it was all fine but now again I am starting to get pain in my ear.

Should I start Cortimax again?

Thank you for your query.

1. No, first inform your doctor and get the ear examined.

2. Continue the Odimont and the Floresp.

3. Indiscriminate use of the steroid may flare up an infection.

4. Your doctor can decide after checking the ear. If the ear is normal, you can repeat the Cortimax dose. If there is an ear inflection or inflammation, medication to relieve the pain and infection should be started.

5. Start regular steam inhalation.
