Suggest Treatment For Eczema Like Rashes On The Fingers

My wife is 25 years old, we have two children a boy which is 3 years old and a girl that is 8 months old now, she is breastfeeding the baby girl since birth until now.
about 2 weeks ago, she developed painful cracks on her fingers, it looks dry cracked areas of the skin that has tiny clogged blood. please refer to the images.
I went to the pharmacy and prescribed corticosteroids (twice daily) and lotion cream (as many times as needed) to apply, please refer to the pictures attached for your reference. The pharmacist said it looks like eczema.
After 4 days of using this medication, there is still no improvements and she is still getting cracks on her hands and pain is worse.
I don't know if this is related but also few weeks ago she had big bulge of lymphoid on the neck at the side below her right ear, it gradually subsided now, while still having some small tochable lymphs, while having that bulge she didin't have any throat pain or anything that we could consider be the cause. Note she has one mold on her neck, she had one on her breast which was removed about 4 years ago.
What do you think we should do? is what she has eczema and thus continue with the medication, or is it something else?
If it's something else what do you suggest we should do .
Looks like eczema, continue with the same medicines
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for being at HealthcareMagic
I have gone through your complaints as well as reviewed the attached photographs.
It looks like eczema and topical steroid prescribed to her is fine.
She should continue with it.
4 days is too less a time to check the efficacy of medicines. This will take time to heal.
Also she should apply a moisturising cream containing white soft paraffin on the entire hands 3-4 times in a day.
On the painful cuts she can apply a topical antibiotic like neosporin ointment twice daily.
Besides this ask her to avoid frequent washing of hands, keep them moisturized, avoid using harsh soaps and detergents and wear gloves while washing clothes and utensils.
