Question : Bursitis, left elbow, has opening through skin, heals over, fills up, then actually squirts out like a cow teat. Clear or yellowy and slimy. People get grossed by it but minimal pain.
What to do?

It will not be painful if it drains spontaneously. However,it will persist and recur and from time to time it may become infected. So it is advisable to do surgical excision of bursa and surrounding cyst as a permanent solution. Wish you good health. Regards
