Detailed Answer:
Hi back,

After receiving your laboratory data I can confirm that you have dyslipidemia with high triglyceride levels and low HDL cholesterol levels. This data are independent risk factor for future cardiovascular complication and are associated with an increased risk for heart attack, stroke and sudden health in the future.

This is why you should take of the necessary measures to lower triglyceride levels and to increase HDL levels. You should conduct a healthy lifestyle, with Mediterranean diet (low in animal fat and reach in fish, white meat and vegetables) and physical activity.

If after three months of diet, triglyceride levels persist to be high than you should start medical treatment. If you were my patient I would recommend to start fenofibrate. Since it has side effects on the liver function you should discus with your doctor before starting treatment.

Wish you health!
