About increased fasting glucose:
Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for asking!
I have gone carefully through your concern.
Increased fasting blood glucose is caused by compromised hormonal control of blood glucose levels. XXXXXXX phenomenon is the most common cause of increased fasting blood glucose. Hormones, such as growth hormone and cortisol, are released and raise glucose. Without diabetes, the body simply responds to this early morning effect by putting out more of the hormones that keep blood glucose in control. That doesn't happen when you have type 2 diabetes. These hormones are secreted more then needed causing high glucose levels in the morning.
Weight loss and physical activity may correct this compromised hormonal secretion, but if high glucose persists, metformine after dinner helps a lot.
Hope i have been helpful.
Kind regards,
