Question : if the fasting sugar level is between 135 - 145 kindly suggest thepreventative measures and priliminar actions to be taken on the said indication.

Thanks for your query.

If fasting sugars are above 130 then its an indication to start antidiabetic medications like Metformin.

Though diet control by reducing carbohydrates intake is necessary, you will also need medications.

There are chances where you may be taken off the medication once the sugar levels are within desired range.
