Brief Answer:
Please upload the reports

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcarMagic.

I have gone through your query. Merely the rise of liver enzymes SGOT and SGPT does not convey anything other than the presence of hepatitis. The cause needs to be determined. Prognosis or outcome will depend on the underlying cause based on which interventions can be planned.

If the cause is alcoholic liver disease, alcohol intake needs to be stopped. Abstaining from alcohol (may require rehabilitation) may significantly improve outcomes. On the other hand, infective hepatitis is another possible cause. In case of infection with Hepatitis A or E, recovery should occur in a month or so. On the other hand, Hepatitis B or C can progress to chronic hepatitis or may remain symptom free for a significant amount of time.

I would insist you to upload the liver function test report and I will try to guide you further.
