Suggest Treatment For Episodes Of Depression

Question: I still have episodes of depression, but they are getting shorter. I recognize the onset of it now and take steps to reduce the severity.
Brief Answer:
that would be good....
Detailed Answer:
not quite sure of the particular question here but honored to have been asked it.
Certainly depressions that are due to chemicals respond well to chemicals (anti-depressants).
These can be identified by:
context ... if there is an underlying brain event (stroke, pregnancy, drug addiction, alcohol and withdrawal yes... peripheral nerve problem no)
character.. happening TO someone without real cause. also tend to be longer lasting and episodic returning
severity (as above)
other signs ... psychosis, bodily sensations, hospitalizable tend to be the endogenous ones.
Excercise, having successes in life, social interactions, a good milieu all can be helpful non-drug methods.
